Thank you for your interest in volunteering with CREAR. Our non-profit organization, located beachside in Playa Sámara, hosts qualified and caring volunteers throughout the year.

Volunteers are expected to commit 10 - 15 hours per week.
CREAR accepts applications at specific times throughout the year whenever a position becomes available. To find out more about available positions and start dates please contact volunteers@asociacioncrear.org and include “VACANCIES” in the subject line.
Compensation can be provided in credit hours to your university.
Fees & Housing:
Volunteers are expected to cover the cost of their travel expenses, food and lodging plus a $25 placement fee.
CREAR will assist volunteers with a housing placement. Options include homestays with local families, apartments and/or hotels. Depending on the needs of the volunteer, housing costs vary.
Homestays include laundry service and 2 meals per day and usually cost about $150 per week. Apartments in town are about $400 per month.
For transportation, volunteers are offered a reduced bike rental price for $15 per month.
